New
Logo: It's a new look for
Myrtle Beach Education Foundation. Through the creative expertise
of Scott Brandon and his associates at Brandon Advertising, The
Foundation is proud to show off its new logo. Our log is depicted
with a rising sun over an open book symbolizing education and
it's new and ever changing horizon.
Brochure:
June Moorhead, Principal
at Myrtle Beach Primary, with the help of Myla Butler, designed
and published The Foundation's first brochure. These colorful
and informative handouts are available in all the Myrtle Beach
schools and are being distributed to potential sponsors during
our "Get To Know Us" Campaign.
Newsletter:
The first annual MBEF newsletter
was published and distributed to all the families attending the
six area schools. Our newsletter is multifunctional in updating
the community about our activities, elaborating on different ways
to help, as well as, introducing The Foundation to those who are
not familiar with our mission.
"Get
To Know Us Campaign": The
Foundation is seeking five-year sponsorships from local businesses
and service organizations to reach our financial goal. Folders
have been created including valuable information about The Foundation
and the different ways one can be involved. A power point presentation
has be created by the Myrtle Beach students for showing at group
meetings. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor and would like
to receive more information or have presentation at one of their
meeting should contact one of our Board
Members or visit Ways
You Can Help.
